Chiral effects in astrophysics and cosmology

چکیده

The microscopic quantum nature of elementary particles, chirality, leads to macroscopic phenomena like the chiral anomaly, magnetic effect, and plasma instability. We review recent progress studies these effects in high-energy astrophysics, such as pulsar kicks, magnetars, core-collapse supernovae, early Universe cosmology, primordial field, baryogenesis, gravitational waves. also provide a pedagogical introduction low-energy effective theories describe them out equilibrium—the (magneto)hydrodynamics, kinetic theory, radiation transport theory for neutrinos.
